AYAHUASCA VISION
This piece depicts two anacondas struggling with the effects (mareación) of Ayahuasca. At the top center, there is an Ayahuasca heart, while the center is protected by Chacruna and Ayahuasca leaves. At the lower center, the face of a jaguar (otorongo) appears, surrounded by Maya Kene designs, representing the flora and fauna of the Peruvian Amazon. The border includes Ayahuasca leaves and piranha teeth. The fabric was painted using Yacushapana pigment and virgin clay from the Yarinacocha lagoon.
