NUBE ANDINA LIGHT ORANGE

$677.00

The Fetishized Andean Clouds were born in 2017. At the request of Bodega MATE, Kristie designed a series of woven object-art sculptures inspired by the work of brazilian artisit, Eli Sudbrack - avaf. From then on, research on the technique and finishes has been constant.

The Fetishized Andean Clouds are born from a passion for fiber and textiles, and from the search for an aesthetic coexistence with them beyond the utilitarian.

“I want to take essential elements of my work as an artist to serial pieces, of small format in a constant search to rescue Peruvian folk art expressions which are then expressed with a contemporary language.”

All the pieces are "one of a kind".

Materials: Mixed fabrics mainly alpaca, embroidery ribbons made in backstrap loom by artisans form Cusco, Peru.

20 x 28 x 12 cm

Comes in a Plexiglass box
