Traditional Artistic Heritage Tapestry.

This Pre-Inca replica, of the Wari culture, has been made in the district of Pitumarca by Timoteo and Benita´s Cooperative of weavers. The designs represent the flora and fauna of the region.

Decades of research and lots of talent made it possible for Timoteo to recover the lost art of Andean tapestry used to make garments for the Inca nobility.

Made with alpaca fibers from the area dyed using plants such as: cochineal, chillca, qolli, indigo, chapi, kinsa k'ucho, this tapestry is a work of art that shows how the techniques and cosmologies of ancient Perú continue today.

Made of Alpaca in backstrap loom.
